                              NAMIBIAN JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION         

The Namibian Junior Golf Foundation along with Ned Bank Namibia hosted the Windhoek Junior Open on the 6^th and 7^th March 2010.

In spite off foul weather both days the golf was of top quality. Children as far as Tsumeb, Grootfontein, Walvis Bay and Swakopmund made their way to Windhoek to participate. The new champion for boys for 2010 was taken by Glen de Waal, one of the young and upcoming stars in Namibia. The girls champion with great talent was Jessica Dressbeimdieke from Swakopmund.

The tournament was played in three divisions A, B, C as well as a Girls division, scores where as follows.

The Namibia Junior Golf Foundation would like to invite all schools and junior golf players to make contact with their local golf clubs and come and join in the tour cup competitions taking place during March to July 2010.

The Namibia Junior Golf Foundation will be announcing the under 19 Namibian junior team to participate in South Africa during the All Africa Junior Challenge 2010. This event will be taking place during the 5-8 th April 2010 at Glendower Golf Club.
