The year has progressed to the halfway mark for the Namibia Junior Golf Foundation and the upcoming events are going to be very competitive for all the juniors. With half of the foundation tournaments played ... only three tour cup events left to play for. The Rossmund Junior Open was hosted by Rossmund Golf Estate on the 25&26 July 2009. This was sponsored by Nedbank Namibia and tested the childrens skills in east wind conditons. See Rossmund Junior Open results under the Tournament results........ The third tour cup was played on the same weekend with the coastal region winning 13-6 after the tournament and now leading 3 -1 in the tournament for 2009. Well done to the Coastal division and hard work for the Central division to square the tournaments for 2009. Namibia Junior Open to be played on the 12 & 13 September at Rossmund Golf Estate for 2009 and lets see who can take control and win this prestigious event for 2009........? |
